PLEATS AND COUNTER PLEATS

During the shooting of the new collection , with the model Valentine and photographer Marie-Élodie Falourd , we composed images, stagings that gave birth to stories in me. I wanted to write them, to give them a voice. Plis et Contre-Plis was born from this need: a collection of nine short stories, nine philosophical tales where clothing becomes a witness, a symbol, a common thread between destinies.

Synopsis

Every seam tells a story. Every fold, every stitch conceals a choice, a detour, a possibility touched upon or rejected. In this collection of short stories, the clothes of the Louise Marcaud brand come to life , becoming witnesses and actors in human dilemmas.

Between tradition and rebellion, destiny mapped out and freedom achieved , these stories explore the complexity of life's paths, where each decision leaves its mark, like a thread woven into the fabric of the world. What remains of us once the pattern has been followed or deconstructed?

Through these stories, clothes are no longer simple objects: they become reflections of our quests, our hesitations and our metamorphoses.
